At Fir View Tan Y Ffridd Holiday Home Park, we understand that whether you’re buying your first static caravan or your umpteenth hundred, it is a big decision. So we have compiled a number of information pages (above) as well as this step by step static caravan buyers guide for you to gain as much information as possible.
The first important step is deciding where you would like your static caravan to be sited; England, Scotland, Wales or further afield! We recommend you always consider the distance and time you would like to travel to and from your new caravan before actually buying a static caravan. As glamorous as a static caravan abroad or by the sea may sound, a travelling time of 5 hours there and 5 hours back is not! Especially with pets or young children in the back.
Ideally, a travelling time of no more than 3 hours is preferable to prevent any stress in travelling, economies on fuel costs, and makes sure you make the most out of your caravan holiday home. Therefore we find our Holidayers come from the Midlands, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Merseyside, Cheshire & the Wirral – as these all have good access links and are well under the comfortable 2 hours travelling time.
Seem Obvious? The best advice usually is. There is no better indicator of what facilities are available or what this lifestyle holds until you look for yourself first hand. Feel free to ring ahead. Simply state that you are thinking of purchasing a caravan & the date you wish to look around our Welshpool caravan park. We will show you around the facilities and the range of new and second-hand caravans available.
You will be surprised at the quality of these second-hand caravans and the price difference compared to buying one new (whilst also saving around £6000 in transport and connection fees as the caravan is already on site!) you may even grab yourself a bargain with a caravan which already has decking attached to it!
All our sited Caravans include siting & connection with the advertised price; so there is no hidden cost.
